Anti-Aging Supplement Benefits of NAD+ 11-Complex AEON

Scientists believe that aging is not a necessary side effect of life as once believed but rather an obstacle programmed into our DNA that we may soon be able to remove.

In the interim there is a lot of research in the field of gerontology and longevity that recently discovered several supplements that can help us to slow down and even reverse the aging process. The key to preventing aging and even reversing the aging process is therefore dependent on taking a combination of supplements that are proven scientifically to enhance longevity and of course to combine this with other aspects proven to enhance longevity e.g. exercise, fasting, good quality sleep, stress relief etc.

It is this scientific research that led to the creation of AEON, an anti-aging supplement that contains a complex of 11 age defying supplements with NAD+ boosting characteristics and is considered by many to be the best anti-aging supplement to come out of North America.

WHAT AGE DEFYING INGREDIENTS DOES AEON 3.0 CONTAIN?

WHAT DOES THE RESEARCH SAY ABOUT NAD+ AND ITS AGE DEFYING AND LONGEVITY PROPERTIES?

Several of AEON's ingredients are NAD+ boosters e.g NR, NMN, Resveratrol, Quercetin, Fisetin etc. and for this reason we will start by explaining the role of NAD+ in the body.

Nicotinamide adenine dinucleotide (NAD+) is a coenzyme that plays a critical role in various cellular processes. Its significance lies in its involvement in fundamental biochemical reactions that affect energy production, DNA repair, cell signaling, and overall cellular health. NAD+ has garnered significant attention, particularly in the field of aging research, due to its central role in these essential functions. Here are some key aspects of the significance of NAD+:

1. Energy Metabolism:

One of the primary functions of NAD+ is its role in energy metabolism. It serves as a cofactor in reactions that convert nutrients from food, such as glucose and fatty acids, into energy in the form of adenosine triphosphate (ATP) through processes like glycolysis and oxidative phosphorylation. NAD+ is crucial for transferring electrons during these metabolic reactions, allowing cells to efficiently generate energy.

2. DNA Repair:

NAD+ is essential for DNA repair processes, which maintain the integrity of the genetic material within cells. Enzymes called poly(ADP-ribose) polymerases (PARPs), which require NAD+ as a substrate, are involved in DNA damage repair. They play a key role in detecting and repairing DNA strand breaks, helping to prevent mutations and maintain genomic stability.

3. Cellular Signaling:

NAD+ also acts as a signaling molecule, particularly through its role in regulating sirtuins. Sirtuins are a family of proteins that are dependent on NAD+ for their activity. They are involved in various cellular processes, including gene expression, stress response, and longevity. Sirtuins play a role in modulating cellular processes to promote health and longevity.

4. Mitochondrial Function:

NAD+ is essential for the function of mitochondria, the "powerhouses" of the cell responsible for producing ATP and regulating cellular metabolism. NAD+ participates in critical reactions within the mitochondria, such as the citric acid cycle (Krebs cycle) and oxidative phosphorylation. These processes are essential for generating energy and maintaining cellular health.

5. Aging and Longevity:

NAD+ levels tend to decline with age, which has led to a growing interest in its role in the aging process. Researchers have proposed that declining NAD+ levels contribute to cellular dysfunction, DNA damage accumulation, and the development of age-related diseases. Strategies to boost NAD+ levels have been investigated as potential interventions to promote healthier aging and extend lifespan.

6. Healthspan Promotion:

Maintaining adequate NAD+ levels is thought to support healthspan, the period of life spent in good health and without debilitating diseases. By maintaining cellular functions such as energy production, DNA repair, and stress response, NAD+ contributes to overall well-being and functional longevity.

The significance of NAD+ reaches across multiple areas of cellular biology, energy regulation, and health. Its role in diverse cellular processes underscores its importance for maintaining the proper function of cells and tissues.

NAD+ BOOSTERS CONTAINED IN AEON 3.0

NAD+ boosters are compounds that are believed to increase the levels of nicotinamide adenine dinucleotide (NAD+) in the body. These compounds are of interest in the field of aging research due to the potential role of NAD+ in promoting cellular health and longevity. Some NAD+ boosters include:

1. Nicotinamide Riboside (NR):

NR is a precursor to NAD+ and is converted into NAD+ through a series of enzymatic reactions. It is found in trace amounts in certain foods like milk. NR has gained attention for its potential to increase NAD+ levels and support cellular functions.

2. Nicotinamide Mononucleotide (NMN):

NMN is another precursor to NAD+ and is also converted into NAD+ in cells. It's found in various foods like fruits and vegetables. NMN has been studied for its potential to raise NAD+ levels and potentially offer health benefits.

3. Resveratrol:

Resveratrol is a compound found in red wine, grapes, and some berries. While it's primarily known for its potential antioxidant properties, it has also been suggested to activate certain sirtuin enzymes, which are dependent on NAD+.

4. Quercetin:

Quercetin is a flavonoid found in various plant foods like onions, apples, and berries. It has been explored for its potential to boost NAD+ levels and support cellular health.

5. Fisetin:

Fisetin is another flavonoid found in fruits like strawberries and apples. Like other compounds, it's thought to influence NAD+ levels and cellular function.

HOW DOES THE NEW AEON 3.0 VERSION COMPARE TO THE OLDER 2.0 VERSION?

The 3.0 is head and shoulders above the previous version. All the ingredients are encased in a Liposomal delivery matrix (phospholipids) that bypasses stomach acids. This as well as the addition of Piperine increases absorption by 300-500% (especially of Resveratrol).

The B vitamins aid in absorption/methylation, and are considered co-factors of compounds like TMG and NMN. We added TMG, and Spermidine to the new 3.0 formulation.

Based on current research the medical board decided to pull these ingredients (CoQ10, Curcumin, Collagen, Crocin) from version 2.0  since they considered the dosing suboptimal, while adding TMG and Spermidine adheres more closely to the protocol suggested by researchers in the field of longevity and gerontology. In addition Piperine was added to increase absorption and NR was added to NMN to form Nicotinamide Duo.

We also got rid of less desirable fillers and binders that used to be contained in AEON 2.0. Silicon dioxide and magnesium stearate has now been removed from the new AEON 3.0 formulation.

The new formula focuses on activating longevity genes (SIRT1, FOXO’s), and fighting senescent cells, more effectively. The dosages have been adjusted based on the new higher absorption rates, and best/latest research.
